Who We Are
Sybille Guy, PhD
Sybille received her Master’s in Organizational Psychology from California State University at Los Angeles and subsequently her PhD in Psychology with an emphasis on measurement, statistics, and methodology from UCLA. She has served as the leader of a county research department for a number of years, creating and implementing evaluation programs and outcomes research. She has spent over a decade as a market researcher, working for both large and small market research companies, with her last position as VP of Research & Analytics. In addition to her quantitative research background, she has experience with qualitative analysis and hybrid studies. Her expertise in survey design and statistics brings a well-rounded perspective to CMS Evaluation.
Sybille also worked in the Office of Academic Affairs at Washington State University Vancouver as Project Associate Faculty where she conducted the campus’ evaluations and assessment efforts. She is currently a Lead Evaluation Specialist at The Research Institute at Western Oregon University, working on grants and program evaluation.
In her spare time, Sybille likes to spend time with her husband and daughter and her best four-legged friend, a Black Lab called Jacque, working on keeping 3 acres in (somewhat) working condition.

Mary Ellen Dello Stritto, PhD
Mary Ellen Dello Stritto, Ph.D. received her doctoral degree in Social Psychology from Claremont Graduate University where she received extensive training in research design and statistical analysis. She has worked as an institutional researcher, a statistician, a statistics consultant, and program evaluator in both K-12 and Higher Education. She has evaluated an educational program funded by the National Science Foundation, several long-term HIV/AIDS programs funded by the National Institutes of Mental Health, and various programs for a county mental health department. She also worked on the evaluation of a community-based teen theater program for the prevention of teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. In addition to her quantitative research skills, she has experience with qualitative data collection and analysis.
Mary Ellen is currently the Assistant Director of Research with Ecampus at Oregon State University. Previously she was a Project Director and Evaluation Specialist with The Research Institute (TRI) at Western Oregon University. A TRI she was the Project Director of the Campus Against Sexual Assault Program. She was as a psychology and gender studies faculty member and the director of the campus women’s center, Abby’s House. She is actively involved in local community organizations in Oregon such as AAUW. Mary Ellen brings to CMS Evaluation broad experience conducting research in academic, government and non-profit settings.
Mary Ellen and her husband spend their free time with their school-aged daughter.
